About us
Hi welcome to out website, we are Steven and Carley a couple from Stamford Lincolnshire.
Our outdoor kitchen journey didn’t start with blueprints or big plans—it began with a simple tabletop we used to prep food while spending time in our small terraced garden. With limited space, we were determined not to compromise the footprint of our outdoor area. The solution? A makeshift fold-up kitchen built on top of unused planters—what we now fondly refer to as the "pallet version."
Using reclaimed pallet wood and leftover materials from building sites I was working on at the time, we created something functional, resourceful, and entirely our own. The only thing we bought was plywood for the roof. We had no idea it would become such a central part of our lives—we ended up cooking outside at least four times a week using our firepit and kettle grill. It quickly became more than just a setup; it was a lifestyle shift.
That shift fit perfectly with the rest of our lives. We’ve always loved being outdoors—whether it’s kayaking along the beautiful surrounding rivers and lakes, hiking with our dogs, chasing the perfect landscape photo, or staying out late for a shot of the stars. We live for fresh air and adventure, and the kitchen became a natural extension of that mindset.
Everything changed when Carley gifted me a live-fire cooking experience with Adam Purnell, a kamado cooking expert. After spending six hours cooking five meals on Kamado Joe grills, I was completely hooked. Not long after, I managed to grab an ex-display Kamado Joe at half price. But suddenly, our original kitchen setup didn’t work anymore. Cooking on the kamado meant pulling it under a sliver of roof cover and working off to the side. It was disjointed , frustrating and it took the joy out of what we loved.
So, I went back to the drawing board. With nearly 20 years’ experience as a carpenter and designer, I knew I could build something better—something that worked seamlessly and looked great doing it. I opened my CAD software, and over the next few days we iterated through ideas. We ditched the rustic charm of the pallet version and designed a new layout with shaker-style doors, high-quality paneling, and a flush worktop that perfectly integrates the kamado grill under full roof cover.
But we didn’t stop there. This wasn’t just about us anymore. We wanted to create something that others like us—outdoor lovers, weekend adventurers, firepit chefs—could enjoy too. Our mission is to make beautifully designed, practical outdoor products that are actually affordable, without compromising on quality.
This kitchen isn’t just a build. It’s the result of a lifestyle, a passion for the outdoors, and a belief that good design should be accessible to anyone who wants to live more of their life outside.

A small piece of us.
